Kaze No Denwa (Wind Phone) is a multi-year dance project themed at the idea of a wind phone constructed as a comfort of grieving for the people of Fukushima, Japan. After a devastating tsunami incident that destroyed the town in 2011.
The opening Act was commissioned by the dance department of Grand Canyon University during a residency in the Fall of 2024.
The subsequence chapters are currently underdevelopment in 2025 with Kraken Still and Film’s newly formed ensemble.
The completion of this project is set for 2026 with a live premiere.
